The trip I made to Northern Nevada in late June 08 to purchase a Doe Herd of 1,000 goats was a tremendous "eye opener" for me. I had known for several years that Boer Goats would grow better if they constantly had a plentiful source of Organic Minerals, but I had never seen an entire goat herd that ate Organically Sourced Minerals in the grasses, shrubs and bushes growing in their mountain-side pastures, as a regular diet. I was impressed with the first pictures I saw of these goats, but seeing them "eye-ball to eye-ball", up close and personal, as I walked through the herd, was something entirely different.
This experience left me knowing that I had to do a better job of communicating the importance of Organically Sourced Minerals to all of our customers. The benefits were huge. Bigger Goats. Faster Growing Goats. Kids that reach 50 to 60 pounds in four months instead of six months. Goats that stay free of all disease, worms & parasites without constant intensive care. This is what I had been searching & working for.
The proof that these were bigger and healthier goats came rapidly within the next few days. I had pre-sold a 400 Doe Herd to deliver to Everett, WA; we normally can ship 200 Premium Does without our trailer being overloaded. When we loaded 180 of these Does, our driver said, "please quit - that's a full load. He later learned the hard way that we were over-weight; it cost us a blown tire and two bent axles on the trailer. That makes for a "bad day".
The Rest Of The Story; Late November 09
I have recently learned more of what made these goats so very healthy and bigger than any I have ever seen. Their drinking water was naturally like the "Kangen Water®" we are now using with all of our goats. We are convinced that the "Kangen Water®" has finished cleaning all of our goats of worms and parasites. It is responsible for our confidence in Guaranteeing the health of our goats for 120 Days.
We next brought home to Oklahoma 500 does and 144 kids. All of these went through our Goat Chute in the next two days to check the goats carefully. There was not one of the 644 goats that was anemic or wormy; they were all completely healthy. Their gums and eyelids were all pink colored. Also, none of the goats died either going to Washington (750 miles) or Oklahoma (1350 miles). We have very little death loss when we ship goats, but shipping 1000 without one loss is the best result ever.
Our normal Premium Does will weigh from 90 to 120 pounds. These Nevada Goats all weighed from 125 to 160 pounds, with the most of them in the 135 to 140 range.
